The former bassist and sitarist for The High Dials recently assembled a new group of psych pop bros called Elepahant Stone, probably as a nod to the Stone Roses’ first album. As one could expect from someone out of the High Dials atmosphere, Elephant Stone’s debut album, the Polaris Prize-nominated The Seven Seas, is pretty packed with punchy jangle pop and Indian-chic psychedelic flourishes that should satisfy those missing The Rain Parade.
