Yeah, that's funny... I think a lot of younger people discovered this program in this way. Ya know, growing up with The X-Files and similar programs, it would make sense that Coast to Coast should/would have a younger audience. But most young people don't listen to AM radio, since it's saturated with fascist fucktards like Michael Savage. Walking into the room of your parents and discovering this totally bizarre program might really be the only way to discover it... and the best way!

When I was a little girl my mom let me listen to AM radio to go to sleep. I listened to boring hymns and sermons on the christian calendar until I was 11, when I accidentally found my first Coast to Coast AM show. It was a show with a man talking about telepathic powers that we all have, and he asked the radio listeners to all get a fork or spoon from the kitchen, put it on top of the radio, and we would all concentrate on using the 'universal mind' to bend them. I crept to the kitchen, got a spoon, put it on the radio and counted down with Art and the guest. right before he got to zero I got lunged at the spoon and threw it across the room! haha. I guess I realized that I would be terrified if it DID bend! Anyway, the next show I heard was the 'sounds' from hell show, and I was terrified again. I listened, fascinated and without my parents knowing, for years! Thanks for sharing your story, because it was so funny to find someone who had a similar experience to mine!

Vikki,

First, NO NEED TO YELL! Secondly, you can find a lot of old MP3s here: http://www.gmms.ca/coast/page_addition.html

You can also try various searches at the Internet archive: www.archive.org
