Found not only a way to get the site back, but also, to post that screen cap for good. Are you ready?

Yeah, so this was our idea of a somewhat meta April Fools joke – that, in addition to our bizarre Tumblr page. The idea, of course, was to get people looking for an image of Neon Indian doing nasty deeds on Chatroulette. Some people did, but most people were unconcerned. I’m not sure what this says about us as a culture. It is what it is. We had fun, at least.

It’s wroth mentioning two quick points. First, I plan on official declaring a truce with Mr. Alan Palomo. No, I’m still not into his music that much personally or the PR machine behind it, but from interviews I’ve read or seen, he seems like a decent enough dude, so I’ll let up. I figured my Vampire Weekend hate was getting old, but I think Neon Indian was the wrong newly adopted target. Suggestions? Secondly, we shall continue to use the new Tumblr page for various ephemera that doesn’t fit on the blog. So if you’re already following, keep doing so. Got loads to share.
