Tomorrow night – it’s on. I don’t gotta tell ya – Bear In Heaven, who have consistently been cited as one of the best performances at Pitchfork Music Fest and SXSW, the mighty return of Shedding, and the regional debut of Slow Animal. This will be bananas, and you’ve gotta get a sneak peak at the huge (4,000+ sq ft) new multi-purpose DIY art space, Land of Tomorrow, opening downtown.

Land of Tomorrow is located at 233 W. Broadway, at the corner of Broadway and South 3rd St. The space occupies the front half of the same building as St. Francis. You’ll see big banners on the front of the facade, and signage (the above poster) in the windows. This is the space right here – y’all clear?

The event is 21 and up (though future events in the space may be 18+) and there will be a cash bar on site. Again, this is a fundraiser, so while admission is technically free, we encourage you to donate somewhere between $7 and $10 to help Land of Tomorrow with future endeavors (which, from what I’ve heard, will be very exciting for Louisville and surrouding areas – eyes peeled, chief).

ear X-tacy’s first performance in their new ear X-tacy LIVE space with Wax Fang is from 6 p.m. to 7. Doors open for Bear In Heaven, et al. at 7:30 p.m. (first act on stage at 8 p.m sharp) – meaning you can do both. And should. And since we’ll be wrapped up by 11:30, you can still get your ass to work on Monday morning. The Decibel Tolls and Crash Ave are stoked to bring you this event, so I hope to see all y’all fools out tomorrow evening.
