[REMINDER] The Books at Headliners Tonight

The last time electro-acoustic collagists The Books came through the area was in 2009, specifically to play an little-known architectural wonder in Lexington simply called The Miller House. The unorthodox use of space in this dwelling has intrigued designers and armchair architectural enthusiasts alike for over two decades, particularly in the past few years after the Miller House became open to the public. These types of one-off performances are the shows The Books prefer to play, so seeing them in a traditional music venue setting on tour can be quite rare, especially with an expanded line-up (which they’ve brought to town). Adding additional anticipation (alliteration lol) for tonight’s show, chances are The Books’ visual component is wholly different since their last nationwide tour, as they’re known to consistently alter their live A/V set-up/roving art installation. Their latest album, The Way Out, is as dynamic and boundary-pushing as any of their previous work, cheeky titles in tow. Relentlessly ambitious and tastefully experimental, The Books remain in their prime… so do not miss out tonight! Tickets will be available at doors tonight, but act fast. Much respect to The Weekly Feed for bringin’ these guys in.
