Well hardy har har, shortly after our friends at Shark Productions confirm Gang Gang Dance to play Louisville this summer, 4AD up and makes their forthcoming album, Eye Contact, available for preview. It’s out next week, May 10th, on binary and physical everywhere. Check it out below, and if you’re diggin’ on these sounds, chances are you live somewhere near their upcoming summer tour. They stop in Louisville at Zanzabar on July 13th. Tickets are $12 in advance and $15 at the door. Grab ‘em now at TicketFly, or from ear X-tacy starting this Saturday. I must be missing something, this sounds 'ok' at best, like they took the commercially viable aspects of 80's pop and didn't really do much to differentiate the sound. How many times is this going to be fashionable? We had the 80's, the early 2000's when folks were all over this and apparently now in our shiny new decade people just can't let go. That's maybe more harsh than intended, because it isn't bad, just maybe lacking in innovation/originality.
