I can say with 95% confidence and sans hesitation, Shit Horse was the most entertaining act at South By Southwest. They picked up their tour manager at a bar the night before they left for Austin. Danny (the dapper frontman) had his wireless mic with him in the restroom as the band began playing their 6 p.m. set, and he ran through the crowd to hop on stage, ripping through “Don’t Smell Too Good (But It Keeps Me From Burning)” from their debut They Shit Horses, Don’t They.
