Hey all,

Alright, so no sense dragging this controversy out. Because of recent developments and our server’s cease and desist (and TOC against adult content), we’re more or less forced to shut this thing down. It sucks to pull the plug just as some real momentum was building, but that’s life, or at least, that’s the Internet during the times of Music Blogocide 2K10. Perhaps we were asking for it, as we’re always pulling stunts that could get us in trouble anyway, but we’re surprised this can happen with a private server using the open source WordPress platform. Be it as it may. We do want to sincerely thank our server provider, HostMonster, for giving us at least a 24-hour heads up about the account and website being suspended. This allows us the day to let all of our readers and supporting artists know that we’re going to try to restart this fire over at our new Tumblr site – thedecibel.tumblr.com. And since we’re trying to make lemonade from Green Label Sound/Mountain Dew’s lemons, we’re going for a slightly new direction as well. It’s not the end of The Decibel Tolls, just the end of TDT as you know. Hope you can dig it.

These changes do not affect the Woven Bones/Disappears show at Zanzabar on June 10th (and others that are in the works) – so do not miss out on that chance to hear rad music and say hello to us if you feel so inclined.
